Appointment Policies

Pickle Street Veterinary Services is different from other veterinary practices. Rather than have a fixed amount of time available for each appointment, we are flexible and you may take as much time as is necessary to ask questions and so we can ensure your animal gets a proper exam and treatment.

First Time Clients

So we can better get to know you and your animals, we ask that your print off this form and send it to us before our first visit. We will have copies of this form available during our first visit if you have not filled it out yet. The form can be found here:

Appointment Scheduling

Due to the mobile nature of our clinic, we will generally not schedule exact appointment times. Rather we will schedule for morning or afternoon. This allows us to better serve you by:

Respond to emergencies as they arise
Take as much time as needed during each appointment to answer your questions
Schedule a route that is both time and distance efficient to keep our costs low, which we pass those savings on to you

Once we leave the appointment before yours, we will give you a call to let you know that we are on our way.

Payment

Unless prior arrangement has been made, payment is due as soon as services are rendered. Pickle Street accepts payments in multiple forms including:

Care Credit-Care Credit is a credit card used to pay for medical or veterinary expenses. Please see this site for more information.

Day of Appointment

On the day of your appointment please plan on having somebody present that can hold your pet during the exam, vaccinations and blood draw. Also, if your pet is protective it may be beneficial to have the appointment during a time when your children are away.

Cancelation Policy

Please note, all appointments that are cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled date are subject to a $25 fee. Also if we arrive at your place and we can not locate you, you will be billed for the travel. If we do arrive at your place we will attempt to contact you and if you will be home within 10-15 minutes we will wait.
